Additional Explanations

Part XII Line 2C

The board of directors have oversight of the audit. This process has not changed from the prior year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The association evaluates its tax positions annually and recognizes a tax liability (or asset) if the association has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by a taxing authority. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the association and has concluded that as of december 31, 2013 and 2012, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the financial statements. The association is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. The association will recognize future accrued interest and penalties related to unrecognized tax benefits in income tax expense if incurred. The association is no longer subject to federal tax examinations by tax authorities for years before 2010 and state examinations for years before 2009.

Part XI, Line 2D

Consists of $4,292 of imputed interest income and $8,629 of rent income that were reported net of expense elsewhere in the return.

Part XII, Line 2D

Consists of $4,292 of in-kind contribution expense and $8,629 of real estate taxes that were netted against the revenue and reported elsewhere in the return.
