“Nvi is an employment social enterprise focused on ensuring that anyone who wants a job has a job. We recruit employees from a wider variety of places, include warming centers, food banks, disability services, probation and parole, mental health treatment facilities, jail, and the department of corrections. In 2024, we provided over 4,100 rides to/from work, over 1000 visits to the food pantries and back home, 500 hours of personal advocacy for a variety of employees needing advocacy to maintain housing, legal follow-up, service system support, and appropriate effective medical care. We also provided over 500 free meals, access to bus passes, assistance with housing applications/rental showings/landlord - tenant support/obtained furniture and household goods and other essentials needed to get into a home.”
