Our mission is to support individuals with disabilities to achieve their highest employment and vocational potential by providing access to meaningful work. We also strive to be a valued member of the business and manufacturing community by providing quality work, on time, at a competitive price.

Nvi is an employment social enterprise focused on ensuring that anyone who wants a job has a job. We recruit employees from a wider variety of places, include warming centers, food banks, disability services, probation and parole, mental health treatment facilities, jail, and the department of corrections. In 2024, we provided over 4,100 rides to/from work, over 1000 visits to the food pantries and back home, 500 hours of personal advocacy for a variety of employees needing advocacy to maintain housing, legal follow-up, service system support, and appropriate effective medical care. We also provided over 500 free meals, access to bus passes, assistance with housing applications/rental showings/landlord - tenant support/obtained furniture and household goods and other essentials needed to get into a home.

The organization is exempt from income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the u.s. Internal revenue code. Gifts, grants and bequests are deductible by donors within limitation of the internal revenue code. The organization is subject to a tax on income from any unrelated business. The organization continually evaluates its tax position, changes in tax law and new authoritative rulings for potential implications to its tax status. The organization has not identified any income it would consider to be unrelated business income.
