The wisconsin concrete pavement association will be recognized as the statewide representative for the concrete pavement industry by providing a resource for education, developing new markets and technology, and fostering a membership dedicated to building a meaningful public and private partnerships for the purpose of promoting the use of concrete pavement as the best pavement value.
To provide an instrumentality through which the members of the concrete pavement industry may coordinate their efforts in the handling of problems of common concern to the industry: to establish and to maintain the highest standards of business practices, customs of the concrete pavement industry; to represent and act for the industry before all divisions of government, and those public and private organizations whose work affects the concrete pavement industry and its members as may be more satisfactorily performed by a group rather than by an individual action; to conduct educational, research, and trade promotion, activities, including advertising and publicity, and to engage in any lawful activities which will enhance the efficient and economic progress of the concrete pavement industry and apprise the public of its scope and character.

“The membership of this association shall be divided into three classes, contractor, cement producer, and allied, described as follows: a contractor membership in the association shall be limited to any individual, partnership, or corporation which is actively engaged as a prime contractor for the construction of concrete pavement and is producing pavement meeting wisconsin department of transportation specification standards. Cement producer members shall be manufacturers of portland cement. Allied members shall be members who provide essential services, equipment, materials, or supplies to the industry.”
