“Assessments - members of rotary club of appleton are part of a worldwide network of more than 1.2 million men and women who make a difference in the lives of people in our community and around the world. Rotarians work together to find solutions for issues of poverty, disease , and illiteracy, and help provide clean water and improve the environment. Asessments paid to rotary international and to rotary district 6220 assist to accomplish these goals.”

“Youth activities - on october 2-3, 2021, the club sponsored one student to attend camp manitowish for rotary youth leadership awards (ryla) which is an intensive leadership experience organized by rotary clubs and districts. This camp helps develop leadership skills while having fun and making connections. The club also presented bright future awards to students who have overcome obstacles in their lives and was able to graduate high school. These students were offered the opportunity to apply for a scholarship for higher education. Four students received scholarships to fox valley technical college and one to u. W. Oshkosh.”
