“Rendering service to the education of youth through fostering continued development and improvement in michigan interscholastic athletics, securing a better understanding of the concerns of coaches and to place at the disposal of coaches sources of information for education and develop- ment, serving as a representative group of coaches to which athletic concerns of general interest may be referred in the hopes of creating a better relationship between schools and the public, and promoting good fellowship and social contacts among michigan high school coaches.”

“National coach of the year conference - held to honor the national coach of the year as selected from the individual state coaches of the year. Provide funding for those coaches that are nominated so that they may attend the national convention.”
