Hope Street Inc

Our mission is equipping all who touch the lives of children with what they need, so they can give children what they need by providing training to caregivers. When individuals, families and communities experience trauma that goes unresolved, it can interfere with trust in relationships. By understanding trauma and its impact, shifting the mindset from "what's the matter with you?" to "what happened in your story?", exploring pathways to resolving trauma and developing everyday trauma-informed responses and connections will strengthen and support individual and community resilience. Hope Street, Inc. dba Hope & Healing JAX, addresses the effects of early adversity and relational trauma through the connecting, empowering, and correcting principles of Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) developed at Texas Christian University by Drs. Karyn Purvis and David Cross.

The purpose of hope street, inc. Is to raise public awareness about complex developmental trauma and to provide education, training and direct services to parents, schools, and child service organizations related to trauma informed care. Hope street, inc. Equips parents with children from backgrounds involving trauma with tools to reduce triggers, fear-based responses, and minimize further traumatic experiences in the home and school environments. Hope street, inc. Also partners with schools toprovide consultation, training, and mentoring for administrators, staff, and educators related to trauma informed education and classrooms.
