“The Empowerment Network (TEN) provides monthly Support and Cheergiver Meetings for the survivors and their familial support. These meetings, though separate, provide information, counseling, and speakers on health issues encountered on the prostate cancer journey.”

“Our newsletter, Survivors, is developed and distributed three times a year to our membership, supporters, sponsors and the public at-large. It covers our events, resources, programs and attained goals for the period.”

“The Prayer Team accompanies the patient to surgery and prays with him and any family members present. He is also given the After-Surgery Kit that has personal and hygiene items needed by the patient while confined to his home.”

“The Speakers' Bureau is a group of survivors that provide information, education and power point or flip chart presentations at health fairs, schools, churches, conventions and other venues in the community.”

“The Mental Health Support Program was instituted to address the burgeoning need for intervention among distressed, depressed survivors.”

“ST. LOUIS UNIVERSITY CANCER CENTER- Received $5,000.00 in November 2019 to continue our mental health program in support of survivors needing therapeutic services. Program expense total 7,523.45”
