Mission

The organization is organized exclusively for the purpose of receiving funds for the purposes set forth in sections 501(c) (3) and 501(c)(4) of the internal revenue code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future united states in- ternal revenue law) (the "code"), including, for such purpo- ses, making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) and 501(c) (4) of the code. The purpose of the organization shall include to directly or indirectly conserve, protect and restore viable ecosystems in africa; to support, encourage, and assist in the educa- tion of african children living in or near such ecosystems; and doing anything reasonably in futherance of, or inci- dental to, the foregoing.

The baraza program organizes public group meetings of members of rural communities in eastern africa to hold a dialogue on issues of concern to the collective group. Discussions include topics of preserving local environments and wildlife.
