There were adjustment made to prior year financial statements impacting the beginning net assets of the organziation.

General explanation attachment

Jackets for Jobs received generous in-kind donations valued at $479,695.00, which directly supported our programs and clients: Comerica Bank Partnership: Comerica Bank donated 2,350 brand-new homecoming and prom dresses, enabling our organization to host two large-scale events outfitting high school girls in six counties. Each participant received two dresses and accessories, creating an empowering experience. o Estimated Value: $470,000 (based on $200 average per dress) Clothing and Furniture Donations: We received general clothing and office furnishings from individual donors, boutiques, and retail partners. Items included professional suits, shoes, handbags, racks, shelving, and Volunteer Engagement: Although not reported as a financial asset, we benefitted from 46 volunteers who contributed to our prom and homecoming events, client styling, office support, and outreach efforts. Each volunteered an average of 6 hours, estimated at $15/hour, for a total of $4,140 in community support. Donated Goods & Services (Additional): Toiletry kits, costume jewelry, shoes, and purses were donated by corporate and community partners to complement event experiences. o Estimated Value: $3,000 (included in programming estimates) Donated Event Space venue $600.00 Volunteer Recognition: Comerica Bank provided suite tickets to a Detroit Lions game as a gift to our top volunteers. This VIP experience fostered appreciation and retention of critical volunteer support.

Each participant received two dresses and accessories, creating an empowering experience. o Estimated Value: $470,000 (based on $200 average per dress) Clothing and Furniture Donations: We received general clothing and office furnishings from individual donors, boutiques, and retail partners. Items included professional suits, shoes, handbags, racks, shelving, and Volunteer Engagement: Although not reported as a financial asset, we benefitted from 46 volunteers who contributed to our prom and homecoming events, client styling, office support, and outreach efforts. Each volunteered an average of 6 hours, estimated at $15/hour, for a total of $4,140 in community support.
