“Educational outreach:provided educational classes and technical assistance to 75 adults resulting in the construction of 35 new pollutant-filtering rain gardens; distributed educational materials to over 2,000 individuals throughout the watershed who are at moderate to high risk for exposure to harmful contaminants found in the local environment/river/fishes; provided educational resources to over 120 recreational users on best practices to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.”
