“To operate and act exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended, including, without limitation, to relieve poverty, eliminate prejudice, reduce neighborhood tensions, combat community deterioration within economically depressed areas of the county of mecosta, increase employment and business opportunities and help generate new and additional tax revenues within the county of mecosta, by promoting, encouraging and assisting the expansion of existing commerical and industrial businesses within the county of mecosta, which may be unable to obtain aid through conventional sources, both on or near their present sites and on new sites within the county of mecosta, and the attraction and encouragement of new commercial and industrial businesses to sites within the county of mecosta by conducting studies, developing land use and assisting and encouraging the development of sound business plans, counseling businesses, encouraging employment of low and moderate income persons and engaging in other similar activities which may be carried on by a corporation exempt from tax under 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended; to educate the public through any and all manner of information media as to the advantages and benefits of plant and business location in the county of mecosta and to cooperate with all agencies, both public and private, seeking to accomplish same; to make and accept grants and loans and to provide services to the state of michigan, the county of mecosta and all municipalities therein and the federal government and any departments, divisions, bureaus, or other agencies of any of the foregoing, in order to further the charitable and educational purposes of this corporation; to make and accept grants and loans and to provide services to and accept the provision of services from other charitable organizations, in order to further the charitable and educational purposes of this corporation.”
