“To participate in, organize, sanction and encourage all forms of motor sport under the auspices of this club for the pleasure and education of the members of this corporation; to build high character, responsibility, courtesy and consideration on the highways or wherever a member may be found; to educate, encourage, and promote safe enjoyable motoring for the betterment of the public at large, including the fostering and support of safe driving practices; to aid and assit all distressed motorists; in the course of due enforcement faithful obedience to all the laws of the united states, and each state, city or other government unit therof, and the highway laws thereof.”
