The manna food project is a non-profit corporation exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code. It has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under the internal revenue code. Accordingly, contributions to the organization are deductible for federal income tax purposes. The organization's federal income tax returns (form 990, return of organization exempt from income tax, as well as form 990-t, exempt organization business income tax return, to report debt-financed rental revenue for 2014) are subject to examination by the irs, generally for three years after they were filed.

NO AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN REFLECTED IN THE STATEMENTS FOR DONATED SERVICES INASMUCH AS NO OBJECTIVE BASIS IS AVAILABLE TO MEASURE THE VALUE OF SUCH SERVICES. HOWEVER, A SUBSTANTIAL NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS HAVE DONATED TIME.
