Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The activities of dmc education & research, which is graduate medical education (gme), have been transferred to a newly created nonprofit, non-stock directorship, organization which was granted 501(c)(4) status by the irs in 2013. This 501(c)(4) entity's name is detroit education & research, ein: 45-5124360. This entity was formed for the purpose of employing the medical residents of the gme program between wayne state university and the detroit medical center as required by the michigan attorney general. As a result, dmc education & research became inactive effective 7/1/13.
