Profile

Holland western horse park exists first and foremost to provide an inclusive, supportive, fun and safe environment for the horse community and the public at large. It is our mission to serve the community with a focus on youth and families while providing horse-related educational opportunities to people of diverse experience levels, abilities, and backgrounds, and to inspire new partnerships amoung equestrians to challenge each outher and grow together. Horse shows continue to be learning opportunties in themselves, but they are also the proof of the quality of the education the ridger has recieved and the hard work they have put into their sport in between competitions. An education in proper horsemanship and horse showing develops the skills of strategy, analysis, focus, leadership, communication, responsibility, compassion, self-esteem, and physical fitness.

Extreme mountain trail (emt) clinics & competitions: we built an obstacle course for horses and rideres to go through water, bridege, and rock type obstacles built to premier mount n trail association (pmt)specifications. These improvements have allowed us to host more educational clinics, opportunities for practice, and create a fun and challenging atmosphere for youth and adults to create memories and build character.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

Pleasure show competitions: we offer competitions in both western and english riding styles in our two traditional arenas to all ages and horse breeds. Participants earn points for daily and year end awards for these competitions. The competitions create a safe environment for the community to practice the skills they've learned, provide opportunities for community engagement, and provide the funding for us to continue offering affordable learning opportunties.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 30

Grounds rental: organizations can rent our facility to host their own pleasure shows and emt course competitions. This allows our grounds to be used for even more educational, team building, and outreach opporuntities than our board can do on their own.
