The form 990 is prepared by the auditors and is presented to the board of directors. The cfo discusses the form with the executive director. The executive director signs off on the form before it is e-filed.

Board members as well as all contracted employees sign a conflict of interest policy which is reviewed annually.

The executive director's perfomance is reviewed by the executive committee based on the goals set in prior year and the directors'(finance, operations, & planning) performance is reviewed by the executive director on an annual basis. Staff review is done by directors and managers annually. The compensation for the executive director is based on the michigan nonprofit association and aaa salary surveys.
