“Membership includes all who actively volunteer in holland community hospital (hch) or provide services that benefit hch through a guild or an associated organization. There shall be three classifications of members: (1) active volunteers; (2) members of an hch guild; and (3) members of an hch associated organization.”

These forms are collected by the compliance office, investigated and then maintained by human resources. A board member who has a conflict of interest as to a matter before the board should not vote or use personal influence on the matter, and the member should not be counted in determining the quorum for the meeting, even where permitted by law. The minutes of the board meeting shall reflect that a disclosure was made, the member's abstinence from voting, and the quorum situation.”
