WRITE OFF OF PLEDGES

General explanation attachment

North kent connect began the quiet phase of a capital campaign to increase its current building from 16,000 sq.ft. To approximately 28,000 sq.ft. In the middle of fiscal year 2017. As of june 30, 2020, nkc has raised approximately 91.5% of the anticipated $2.9 million dollar construction project. Nkc has now opened the public phase of fundraising for this project. Groundbreaking for the expansion started in february 2020 and was stalled due to covid-19 legislative restrictions of the construction industry. Construction started again in the middle of june 2020. In august of 2020, additional costs due to unforeseen expenses of watermain placement and cement costs were presented to the board. The board in turn approved the added costs increasing the overall project to $3.3 million.
