“Through the college, we complete annual conflict of interest documentation. The conflict of interest document is approved by the audit and compliance subcommittee annually. The approved document is then distributed to board members, faculty, and staff, and all documents are collected prior to final release of the 990 to the irs. Members of the board, president's administrative committee, faculty, and staff who have a conflict of interest in any matter shall refrain from participating in the consideration of the proposed transaction. The person or persons involved will not vote on such matters.”

“Munger place apartments was essentially shut down except for offices on the first floor in the spring of 2014. It will remain closed until certain necessary renovations in the apartment areas can be completed. It is expected that munger will reopen in entirety in august of 2016. The remodel was not deemed to be a significant change in how the orgnaization conducts its program services.”
“The college is recognized as an organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code (the "code"), whereby only unrelated business income, as defined by section 512(a)(1) of the code, is subject to federal income tax. Accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america require management to evaluate tax positions taken by the college and recognize a tax liability if the college has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by the irs or other applicable taxing authorities. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the college and has concluded that as of june 30, 2015 and 2014, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability or disclosure in the financial statements. The college is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. Management believes it is no longer subject to income tax examinations for fiscal years prior to 2012.”
