“Form 990-EZ, Part III Organizations Primary Exempt Purpose Farm Bureau is a free independent, non-governmental, voluntary organization of farm families united for the purpose of analyzing their problems and formulating action to achieve educational improvement, economic opportunity, and social advancement and thereby promote national welfare. Farm Bureau is local, statewide, national and international in its scope and influence and is non-partisan, non-sectarian, and non-secret in character. Form 990-EZ, Part III Program Service Accomplishments Public Policy Using grass roots philosophy, volunteer members formulate current and emerging agricultural issues into areas of interest. Membership with a unified voice, provides direction to the state organization. The statewide organization then develops a local, state and national level strategy.
