Michigan jaycees was formed to develop true friendship and understanding among young people of all nations and of the state of michigan. Michigan jaycees was formed to provide supplementary education for personal development and achievement. Michigan jaycees was formed for such educational and charitable purposes as may promote and foster intelligent participation by young people in the affairs of their community, state, and nation. In doing so, michigan jaycees inculcates in the individual member a spirit of genuine civic interest.
