Except student members, each member present at a membership meeting shall have one (1) vote on each matter submitted to vote by the members at a meeting at which a quorum is present. Student members of the association present at annual and special meetings shall have one (1) collective vote. Members elect the trustees who govern the association.

In preparation of tax returns, tax positions are taken based on interpretation of federal, state and local income tax laws. Management periodically reviews and evaluates the status of uncertain tax positions and makes estimates of amounts, including interest and penalties, ultimately due or owed.
