“All persons, firms, groups, associations, partnerships, limited liabilities and corporations who desire to preserve and promote the goals, objectives and purposes of the lansing regional chamber of commerce shall be eligible for active membership. Each active membership, shall be entitled to one vote on all matters coming before the membership. Any person who has provided outstanding service to the lansing region or who has a distinguished achievement or reputation may be elected an honorary life member by the board of directors. Honorary members shall not have a vote, shall not be entitled to notice as required by law for members and shall not be required to pay dues.”
