The organization invited new members to act as the governing body/ Board of Directors. No formal meetings were held by the governing body until subsequent year. The policy is for the governing body to hold meetings monthly to discuss program updates, new programs, financial positioning, day to day activities and management, and fundraising activities. Items requiring a vote will be voted upon and listed in the meeting minutes.

Monthly review by the Executive Directors and Co-Founders of all governing body members. All meetings include organization affiliation and other relationships that may be considered a conflict of interest. If any member has a perceived conflict on interest, this will be presented to the entire governing body for discussion, evaluation, and vote. If the conflict of interest is deemed material, then the Board member may be relieved from duties and replaced by another member.
