Mission

Springfield empowerment zone partnership is a ground-breaking initiative to empower the students, families, and educators of springfield, massachusetts with a commitment to access, belonging and opportunity.

The partnership is a groundbreaking voluntary partnership of springfield pubic schools (sps), the massachusetts department of elementary and secondary education (dese), and the springfield education association (sea) aimed at rapidly improving outcomes for a majority of springfield's middle school students.
