Financial Statement Notes

Part X, Line 2:

“The chamber is a not-for-profit corporation under 501(c)(6) of the internal revenue code and, as such, is exempt from income taxes under section 501(a) of the code. However, it is subject to income taxes, at the normal corporate income tax rates, on various advertising income. This income is taxable under the unrelated business income provisions of the code. The chamber did not pay any unrelated business income tax for the years ended december 31, 2025. Tax positions for the open tax years as of december 31, 2025 were reviewed, and it was determined that no provision for uncertain tax positions is required.”
