“The club is exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(7) of the internal revenue code. The tax reform act of 1969 imposes a corporate income tax on the "unrelated business taxable income" of an otherwise tax-exempt club. Provision for applicable federal and state income taxes has been made, when applicable, in the accompanying statements of activities. Management has evaluated the club's tax positions and concluded that the club has taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustment to the financial statements to comply with the provisions of the fasb accounting standards codification (asc) 740, income taxes.”
