“The members elect the organization's directors in an annual election by mail ballot. The ballots are opened and counted at a general meeting and the results are duly recorded in the meeting minutes.”

“As stated in the organization's constitution, member approval is required for board decisions regarding removal of directors, disbursement of funds from special reserves, constitutional amendments and liquidation.”

“Form 990 is promptly reviewed and approved at a board of director's meeting prior to filing the form 990.”

“The mission of chicago bow hunters, inc. Is: 1. To foster, expand and perpetuate the practice of archery; 2. To encourage the use of the bow in hunting of all legal game; 3. To cooperate with the national field archery association and the illinois archery association in securing better hunting privileges and conditions for bow hunters; 4. To inculcate the sound principles of conservation (protecting and developing illinois resources in woods, waters, game and wildlife); 5. To prevent waste and destruction of our game, fish and other species of wildlife; 6. To contribute to the codification and enforcement of game laws and regulations for sanitation and the prevention of pollution of our waters; 7. To disseminate information as to the results of wanton despoliation; 8. To further conservation measures of the state; 9. To maintain archery field courses and conduct tournaments in accordance with the rules of the national field archery association wherever practicable; 10. To promote the spirit of good fellowship and sportsmanship among all archers.”

Sponsorship of archery shoots open to public. C. Presentation of shooting and hunting awards. D. Publication of a newsletter entitled "the bow banter". E. Maintenance of a website "chicagobowhunters.com". F. Monthly membership meetings. G. Sponsorship of annual toys-for-tots shoot. H. Sponsorship of joad (junior olympics archery development) program for young archers, 8 to 18 years of age”
