Yamhill community care and baker tilly, the organization's independent accounting firm, prepare the form 990. The organization's ceo and finance committee review and approve the form. It is then presented to the board of directors prior to being filed.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

During board business, we routinely review the bylaws and conflicts of interest. Additionally, we review the conflict of interest policy annually and have each director identify conflicts and attest to the policy and procedures for meetings. Members with conflicts excuse themselves from voting on those specific topics.

Compensation for the organization's top management and key employees is reviewed and approved by an independent third party. The executive compensation is determined by yamhill community care's board, which obtains services from the third party to obtain, analyze and verify relevant market data. This process is completed at least every other year for all executive positions.
