FORM 990 - ORGANIZATION'S MISSION

The vision of the annapolis film festival is to establish annapolis as a center for filmmakers to showcase different global perspectives and independent thought to a variety of audiences through their work. The long term goal is to enhance growth, both culturally and economically, to the annapolis area and throughout the region.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4A

For the fiscal year ending june 30, 2025, the annapolis film festival achieved several key milestones across programming, operations, marketing, and audience engagement. On the programming front, we successfully introduced the faith experience, a new thematic strand that drew diverse audiences and sparked meaningful dialogue. We also continued two of our most popular events-the women's panel and the director's panel-which brought together acclaimed industry voices for in-depth discussions that resonated with festivalgoers. Operationally, we streamlined our pass and ticket purchasing process online, creating a smoother, more user-friendly experience that encouraged advance sales and reduced on-site wait times. Our marketing efforts paid off with a dramatic increase in social media presence and audience response, expanding our reach and engagement across platforms. These combined efforts contributed to a 16% increase in attendance over the previous year, demonstrating strong and sustained growth for the festival.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0THE VISION OF THE ANNAPOLIS FILM FESTIVAL IS TO ESTABLISH ANNAPOLIS AS A CENTER FOR FILMMAKERS TO SHOWCASE DIFFERENT GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES AND INDEPENDENT THOUGHT TO A VARIETY OF AUDIENCES THROUGH THEIR WORK. THE LONG TERM GOAL IS TO ENHANCE GROWTH, BOTH CULTURALLY AND ECONOMICALLY, TO THE ANNAPOLIS AREA AND THROUGHOUT THE REGION.
IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt1FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2025, THE ANNAPOLIS FILM FESTIVAL ACHIEVED SEVERAL KEY MILESTONES ACROSS PROGRAMMING, OPERATIONS, MARKETING, AND AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT.
