In 2021 the dekalb county economic development partnership, inc., updated their by-laws with a new vision and an additional purpose of the corporation. The board of directors' section was updated regarding attendance, voluntary contributions, age, total number of directors, and at-large position vacancies. The quorum and manner of acting was updated, along with stating the utilization of proxies. The purpose of the executive committee was inserted, along with a creation of a governance and finance committee. The order of business was restructured for regular and annual meetings. Credentials for the executive director were added. In regard to books and records, financial review was added to the title annual audit. A budget timeline was also inserted.

Annually, employees and directors must read the written conflict of interest policy and disclose interests that could give rise to conflicts. All potential conflicts of interest are vetted by the board of directors and, if considered necessary, the board member will abstain from any decisions concerning the parties involved, either directly or indirectly, with the conflict of interest. In addition, new board members are required to sign off on the conflicts of interest policy.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS' SECTION WAS UPDATED REGARDING ATTENDANCE, VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS, AGE, TOTAL NUMBER OF DIRECTORS, AND AT-LARGE POSITION VACANCIES. THE QUORUM AND MANNER OF ACTING WAS UPDATED, ALONG WITH STATING THE UTILIZATION OF PROXIES. THE PURPOSE OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WAS INSERTED, ALONG WITH A CREATION OF A GOVERNANCE AND FINANCE COMMITTEE. THE ORDER OF BUSINESS WAS RESTRUCTURED FOR REGULAR AND ANNUAL MEETINGS.
