The ceo reviews the documents and either schedules a meeting with the board's finance commitee or adds it to the agenda for the next finance committee meeting. At the subesquent full board meeting, the finance committee makes recommentations, and the 990 is reviewed with the full board of directors, with the auditor present on the phone in case questions arise. Once the review is complete that board chairperson authorizes the auditor to file the 990.”
