Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

“Accounting standards codification (asc) topic 740, "income taxes" provides that the organization may recognize the tax benefit from an uncertain tax position only if it is more likely than not that the tax position will be sustained based on the technical merits of the position upon examination by the taxing authorities. Management has determined all benefits associated with positions taken for tax purposes would, more likely than not, be sustained upon review by the taxing authorities, and therefore believes proi worldwide has no uncertain tax position as of december 31, 2024. No income tax associated interest or penalties were incurred in 2024. The forms 990, return of organization exempt from income tax, of proi worldwide, for the years ending 2021, 2022, and 2023 are subject to examination by the internal revenue service, generally for three years after they were filed.”
