Members of this corporation are all individuals at least 18 years of age who reside in the little earth housing complex located at 2501 cedar avenue south, minneapolis, minnesota, 55404, and who subscribe to the purpose of this corporation and agree to abide by its articles of incorporation and bylaws.

Each townhouse cluster and apartment building elects one resident council member and one alternate resident council member. Tow at-large community members are voted in by the members by age-bracket: the elder representative for age 55 years or older and the youth representative for age 10-17. The majority of the voting members of any cluster or apartment building may call for a vote to remove its resident council member. A majority of the voting members of such cluster or apartment building are required for removal.

THROUGH THESE PROGRAMS, LERA DELIVERS CULTURALLY SPECIFIC PROGRAMMING, HOUSING STABILITY SERVICES, SOCIAL SERVICES NAVIGATION, OBSTACLE REDUCTION ASSISTANCE, ADVOCACY, AND IN-SCHOOL SUPPORT. A KEY COMPONENT OF THIS WORK IS OUR RESIDENT SUPPORT CONTRACT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY, WHICH PROVIDES CULTURALLY RELEVANT ON-SITE SERVICES TO ALL 212 LITTLE EARTH HOUSEHOLDS, FROM YOUTH TO ELDERS, TO FOSTER EMPOWERMENT AND SELF-SUSTAINABILITY.
