Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Transitions property holding corporation is exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(2) of the internal revenue code. The organization did not have any unrelated business income tax during the years ended june 30, 2024 and 2023. The organization has been determined by the internal revenue service not to be a "private foundation" within the meaning of section 509(a) of the internal revenue code. The organization has determined that there are no material uncertain tax positions that require recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. Generally, returns filed by the organization are subject to examination by the internal revenue service for a period of three years. While no returns are currently being examined by the internal revenue service, tax years since 2021 remain open.
