THE FUND IS CALLED CRAY DIABETESSELF-MANAGEMENT CENTER FUND. THE UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS PHYSICIANS, INC WILL REQUEST PAYROLL DOLLARS FROM THE FUND FOR THE CRAY DIABETES CENTER STAFF AS PAYROLL PERIODS OCCUR.IN APRIL 2010, AN ARRANGEMENT WAS MADE WITH THE KANSAS UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL TO TAKE OVER ALL OF THE CMRF EMPLOYEES' SALARIES AND BENEFITS. CMRF THEN BEGAN MAKING QUARTERLY PAYMENTS DIRECTLY TO THE KANSAS UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL ENDOWMENT ASSOCIATION (KUEA) TO FUND THE CRAY DIABETES SELF-MANAGEMENT CENTER FUND'S PROGRAM FUNCTIONS. ALL EXPENSES ARE PAID FOR BY KANSAS UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL AND THEY DRAW FUNDS FROM CMRF WITH KUEA AS NEEDED. THE DIABETES INSTITUTE AND DR. DAVID ROBBINS (CMRF DIRECTOR) HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO REQUEST PAYMENT FROM THE FUND FOR OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE CENTER. THESE REQUESTS WILL HAVE ALREADY BEEN APPROVED IN THE BUDGET PROCESS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR. ON A QUARTERLY BASIS, A STATEMENT IS PREPARED FOR CRMF TO SHOW ALL INCOME AND EXPENSES FROM THE FUND.
