Mafo Inc

Focus is to address the needs of farmworkers and hispanics in rural america. The organization is committed to developing the leadership and vision in partnership with individuals and other organizations. It provides a format for building community, assets and capacity building through engaged dialogue, training and a national campaign for civic engagement. Through collaborative planning, seminars, services and workshops the organization provides the venue for dialogue, training and discussion. It focuses on six areas: workforce solutions, healthy communities, community asset building, education: issues & opportunities, immigration and minority farming. The organization serves 340 clients directly.

Mafo's mission is to 'advocate nationally for farmworkers and rural communities'. Mafo is a national partnership of farmworker and rural organizations which mobilized resources to address issues that impact the lives of farmworkers and their communities. Mafo convenes and educates through coalitions and conferences with broad-based participation.
