“The bylaws were updated to remove terminated states from the founding members. It was also updated to change the definition of the executive director and to remove illinois podiatric medical association as the executive director and to allow the executive council to appoint and direct the staff of the conference. There were also changes made to the administration duties of the board of directors and explanation of duties for the staff. There was also a provision written into the bylaws to hold back proceeds from the conference for savings for future conference liabilities.”

“Membership of the conference consists of founding members and regular members. The founding members are the state associations of illinois, indiana, iowa, and michigan (however, michigan terminates this fiscal year).”

“Each regular member association is represented by a delegate appointed by that association. The board of directors of midwest podiatry conference consists of the conference delegates.”

“The form 990 was reviewed by the treasurer and the accountant prior to filing.”

The executive director of illinois podiatric medical association will no longer serve the executive director of midwest podiatry conference and the employees of illinois podiatric medical association will no longer perform services for the conference. Midwest podiatry conference will now be managed by the staff of the conference who shall be appointed by and under the direction of the executive council.”
