The members elect the slate of candidates to serve on the Board of Trustees and as officers of the organization.

Conflict of interest reporting occurs before appointment, election, employment or other retention, and annually thereafter. Each ABA representative is also expected to update his/her Disclosure Questionnaire whenever a material change occurs in his/her relationships.

The Executive Compensation Committee determines the compensation of the Executive Director. An independent contractor was utilized to benchmark the salary of the Executive Director during hiring process. The Executive Director determines the compensation of key employees based on comparable data from the market.
