“The melrose park chamber of commerce is a volunteer organization made of various professionals dedicated exclusively to providing continuing education and student scholarships that translate directly into greater employment. It seeks to grow local economic opportunities through small business development education, job opportunities, and educational scholarships by providing continuing educational workshops to small business owners & employees as well as high school and college scholarships to students. In addition to its endeavors in education and small business growth, the chamber reaches out directly to new residents through its support of the melrose park hispanic welcoming center, the first of its kind in the nation.”
