Broadcast council members vote on & elect the vice pres. Of the board each year. They also can vote & elect the regional vice pres. In their region-east, west or south. Mgmt sales council members vote on & elect one representative to be on the board each year. Allied industry council members vote on & elect one representative to be on the board each year. None of the members can approve significant decisions of the board of directors and none of the members receive a share of the profits/losses or assets upon dissolution.

Broadcast council members vote on & elect the vice president of the board each year. They also can vote & elect the regional vice pres. In their region-east, west or south. Mgmt sales council members vote on & elect one representative to be on the board each year. Allied industry council members vote on & elect one representative to be on the board each year.

Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11

A copy of the final 990 is mailed to 3 officers of the board (the president, president-elect, and the vice president) before it is efiled to the irs. Each of the 3 officers review the 990 in detail, then the executive director will have a phone conference with the 3 officers in which they will discuss the 990 in detail.

Every january, current and new board members sign a new conflict of interest agreement and a copy is kept on file at the office. A copy is also given to the board member. All board members shall identify the potential conflict and, as required, remove themselves from all discussions and voting on the matter.
