“Any person, company or non-profit organization that has a product, ingredient or program related to baking can apply for membership to the organization. The application is reviewed and voted on by the board of directors.”

“A nominating committee, subcommittee of the board of directors, determines a ballot for electing the organizations board of directors from the membership. The voting members vote on the directors at the annual meeting. Directors are elected to a 3 year terms and are eligible for re-election.”

“Voting members will vote on changes to the organizations policy at the annual meeting. This could include mission statements, programs, dues structure or changes to the by-laws.”

“Financial reports are provided to the executive board monthly and to the full board of directors quarterly for review. Financial information is provided to members at the annual meeting. Form 990 is prepared from the year end financial reports and provided to the executive director for review and signature prior to filing.”

“An anti-trust statement is read before each and every meeting of the organizations along with instructions on actions the member is to take if they feel there is a violation ofthe statement. Directors are required to obtain from voting on any issue of which theremay be a conflict of interest.”

“The executive directors compensation is determined by the executive committee of the board of directors and includes a detailed analysis of duties preformed and industrycomparability data. Board of director positions are volunatry.”

“Governing documents, anti-trust statement, financial statements and tax returns areavailable to the public upon request.”
