Statement of policy directors, officers, employees and volunteers of the ymca shall adhere to the highest standards of honesty, ethics, propriety, good faith and fair dealing in all activities relating to the ymca. Compliance with the ymca's conflict of interest policies and procedures is a condition of employment or service to the ymca. No ymca director, officer, employee or volunteer or "family member" (as defined below) shall accept gifts, entertainment, discounts, benefits, gratuities, or favors of any kind from any person, firm or corporation with whom the ymca is a party to a contract, transaction or arrangement, or with whom the ymca is contemplating entering into a contract, transaction or arrangement, which could reasonably be expected to influence, or create the appearance of influencing the individual's actions affecting the ymca. This prohibition is not intended to preclude business meals or other nominal matters in the reasonable and ordinary course of business. The ymca will not engage in any contract, transaction or arrangement involving a "conflict of interest" (as defined below) without establishing appropriate safeguards to protect the interests of the ymca. To that end: a. Each significant person must promptly, fully and timely comply with the disclosure requirements set forth in this policy, or as otherwise adopted by the board of directors in accordance with this policy. B. All material transactions, contracts or arrangements involving a conflict of interest must be reviewed by the board governance committee ("committee"). C. The committee must determine by a majority vote of disinterested persons that appropriate safeguards and/or actions are in place to protect the interests of the ymca and are consistent with the purposes of this policy. D. Where appropriate, the committee shall seek advice of legal counsel. E. The committee shall report to the board of directors of the ymca ("board"), at least annually, on the results of its review. This policy applies to (a) significant persons, and (b) any material contract, transaction or arrangement involving the ymca.”

IN 2024 THE YMCA WAS ABLE TO SERVE 449 CHILDREN IN YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS.WOVEN INTO THE FABRIC OF THE YMCA MISSION IS A COMMITMENT TO STRENGTHENING FAMILIES. YMCA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS RELIEVE THE BURDEN OF BALANCING WORK AND FAMILY AND MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN IN OUR CARE TO REMAIN GAINFULLY EMPLOYED, KNOWING THEIR CHILDREN ARE THRIVING IN A SAFE, DEVELOPMENTALLY SOUND ENVIRONMENT.THE YMCA PROVIDES TUITION ASSISTANCE INCLUDING REDUCED FEES FOR FAMILIES WHO QUALIFY FOR THE "FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH PROGRAM" AT LOCAL SCHOOLS. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR YMCA MEMBERSHIP AND PROGRAMS IS PROVIDED TO QUALIFIED FAMILIES AND PROVIDES REDUCES PRICES FOR ALL YMCA PROGRAMS ALONG WITH PROVIDING ACCESS FOR THE CHILD AND THEIR FAMILY TO THE YMCA FACILITY. IN ADDITION, WE PROVIDE AID TO FAMILIES WHO NEED HELP DUE TO FAMILY VIOLENCE, SUBSTANCE ABUSE, ETC., BY COLLABORATING WITH OTHER SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES. WE HAVE SO MANY FIRST-TIME CAMP FAMILIES IN LARGE PART BECAUSE OF THE EMPHASIS WE PLACE ON TRAINING CAMPERS TO BECOME STAFF THROUGH THE STUDENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.IT IS THE MISSION OF YMCA CAMP BENSON TO PROVIDE SAFE, FUN, AND EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES FOR OUR CAMPERS THROUGH THE DEMONSTRATION OF THE FOUR CORE VALUES; CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT AND RESPONSIBILITY AND BY PRACTICING A CAMPER FIRST PHILOSOPHY. SENDING A CHILD TO CAMP IS AN ACT OF GREAT FAITH BY PARENTS. AS DIRECTORS, WE TAKE THAT RESPONSIBILITY VERY SERIOUSLY. WE STRIVE TO MAINTAIN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT BOTH ENCOURAGES PERSONAL GROWTH AND CREATES AN UNFORGETTABLE SUMMER EXPERIENCE.
