“TRSA has 4 categories of membership: Active Members: Any person, firm or corporation engaged in textile processing on a for-profit basis and which provides services to commercial and/or institutional enterprises, and which is of good repute. General Members: Any in-house, on-premise, cooperative, non-profit or government operated textile processing entity that provides services to the organization that owns the laundering facility. Senior Members: Retired, former executive level employees of TRSA member companies. Associate Members: Any entity engaged in the business of catering to, serving, or selling merchandise, supplies, or services to the Active or General Members of the Association.”

“TRSA holds an annual meeting once a year and all members are informed about the meeting at least 15 days before it takes place. At the meeting each person, firm or corporation that are in good standing with TRSA are allowed one vote. Special meetings may be held upon the written request of 50 members. No business except that specified in the notice of the meeting, which is sent out 15 days prior to the meeting, shall be transacted at any special meeting.”

“Changes to the bylaws or articles of incorporation require a vote of the membership. This may be done by either a two-thirds vote of the membership by proxy or in person with 30 days notice. The Board may also approve changes by a three-fourths vote and ratification by two-thirds of the membership as noted above.”
