“To encourage meaningful intellectutal fellowship: we provide members with a monthly, internationally distributed periodical, integra, for the dissemination of ideas and to solicit member comments. Likewise, regional publications exist to build comaraderie among members who are geographically related and grant them a more individualized forum. Members share in localized, intellectual discourse thorugh these regional publications. There are multiple internet spaces dedicated to members and subsets thereof to further amplify our ability to engage in intellectual fellowship and dialogue. The annual general assebly, held each summer, allows the membership to gather in person and experience intellectual communion since our other fora are limited to the printed or digital page. Finally, regional directors of intertel serve as the nexus points for regional activities. They organize social gatherings, scientific and artistic outings, and meals over which members can further engage in intellectual debate and fellowship. 2. To foster an echange of ideas of any and all subjects: the participants are subject to no level of censorship. Members are provided spaces where thy are encouraged to be frank as well as spaces where courtesies are more prevalent, though nothing is barred. Both common and fringe thinking are encouraged to allow members to learn from one another and discern their own thoughts. Our in-person gatherings court speakers on a wide range of topics to cater to intellectual curiosity. 3. To assist in research relating to high intelligence: throughout intertel's history it has promoted intellectually based scholarships, including the hollingsworth award. The crafting of a new scholarship is underway, devoted to rewarding intellectual excellence. Intertel also provides information regarding various intelligence tests. Our members share this information with the public.”
