All of the members of the board must be residents of henry county, indiana and be persons interested in the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of henry county, indiana and be supportive of the policies of the henry county hospital in its programs to provide high-quality hospital care and to aid in the alleviation of human suffering of all those persons using the facilities or services organized, managed or operated by it for such purpose.

Foundation is exempt from incometaxes as a charitable organization under section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code. Management has evaluated the foundation's tax positions and concluded that the foundation has taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustment to the financial statement to comply with the provisions of asc 740-10. Penatlies and interest assessed by the income taxing authorities are included in operating expenses, in incurred. With few exceptions, the foundation is no longer subject to federal and state income tax examination for the years before 2020.
