| Partners in Opportunity connects low-income families with children to housing in high opportunity communities with high performing public schools, and provides a two year springboard of wraparound support to help families navigate the transition, build community, establish stability, and ensure that their children are equipped to succeed academically. We deliver these services through four core programs. Through our College Readiness Program, we rigorously monitor the academic progress of children in the program to ensure that they are on a college-ready trajectory, while equipping parents with the tools and coaching to support learning at home and to become effective advocates for their childrens academic development. Through our Opportunity Coach Program, our staff meets one-on-one with parents to help them to set and achieve goals across key domains of stabilitye.g., finances, education, employment, childcare, transportation, and physical and mental healthconnecting them to relevant resources and referral partners as needed. To complement the structured coaching that they receive from our staff, and to provide them with an additional layer of support and accountability, we also pair every parent in the program with a volunteer Mentor, as part of our Mentorship Program. Finally, through our Community Program, we help families to build relationships and a support system in their new community, secure scholarships to provide children with access to after-school and summer enrichment programs, and organize opportunities for parents to get together with other parents in the program in small groups to build community. | $8,850 | $241,462 |
