IRS990ScheduleI/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0Part 1, Line 2: All grants (in-kind and monetary) are made to individuals who demonstrate financial need, primarily in compliance with income levels suggested by local foodbanks and similar organizations. Individuals must also present evidence of their residence to comply with our by-laws. Records of visits by clients to our facility are maintained on paper, using forms suggested by agencies which supply the conference with goods. The records are updated when clients visit our facility. Emergency financial assistance is provided by our giving the amounts directly to the utility company, landlord, pharmacy, etc. We do not provide cash or checks directly to the clients, to ensure the funds are used as intended. Records of financial aid are mainted in our facility. No individual received any grants in excess of $2,000 (including monetary and in kind assistance) in calendar year.
