Mission

To engage and assist in the development, redevelopment, financing, operation, and management related to the revitalization of the washington beech public housing development and the neighborhood surrounding it located in boston, massachusetts.

To engage in, assist in, or otherwise carry out, either individually or in cooperation with other entities, either public or private, or both, or any legal entity or association, all or any of the development, redevelopment, financing, operation, and management related to the revitalization of the washington beech public housing development, and the neighborhood surrounding it, located in boston, ma. To assist with the improvement of low-income and middle-income housing, related to the revitalization of the development. To cooperate with public and private tenant associations and other housing groups to advance and advocate for the interests of low-income and moderate-income residents of the development. All activities are in futherance of the purposes of the boston housing authority.

Washington beech revitalization corporation has adopted a conflict of interest (coi) policy and a code of conduct. Under this coi policy, all directors, principal officers, and members of a commmittee with governing board delegated powers must disclose, as they arise, all financial interests regardless of amount, through business, investment, or family, relative to the corporation or any entity or individual with which the corporation has a transaction or arrangement. After disclosing such financial interest and all material facts, the person shall leave the meeting and the remaining board shall decide if a conflict of interest exists. Furthermore, all directors and principal officers of the corporation, being also public employees, are subject to federal and state ethics requirements.
