“The purpose of the museum of postal history, inc. Is to educate the public about the role of the postal system in the development of american society. The museum of postal history serves as a museum of general interest to the community by collecting, caring for, exhibiting, interpreting, and demonstrating items that will serve to illustrate the history of mail systems, philately, and the impact they have made upon society.”

“Work continued at the museum including construction of exhibits to enhance the viewers' experience and to increase the amount of educational information available to the museum visitors. Several fundraisers were undertaken to raise funds for the museum's operation and renovation. The museum sponsored escorted tours to alaska and williamsburg. The museum curator conducted the tours and provided educational information as well as items for entertainment value. All expenses were paid by the participants and museum personnel utilized for these projects were all volunteers. Escorted tours of the museum are provided by the museum curator and trained docents.”
